Circus of ideas too peculiar to live, but too fabulous to die.

Imogen Huzel and Inka Pehkonen – “globally roamed, self-declared circus superstars” — present their fabulous new circus show Yes Person. Built entirely from ‘killed darlings’, the abandoned ideas from earlier works, this experimental, physical and satirical show gives the forgotten ideas a roaring second life. Funny, impressive, and stupidly genius.

Embracing the rule of ‘yes-saying’ in devising quickly leads to an expansive wasteland of ideas. From the dregs of their old creative processes—the sediment of ideas left behind, too mismatched, ambitious, or nonsensical to fit into past creations—comes a performance that gives these discarded concepts a second chance to flourish, expand, and spiral out of control.
