Cirko Festival: Shame Cabaret

15.5.2014

Agit-Cirk: SHAME CABARET

”Dad, what did you inherit? I inherited shame.” Shame Cabaret is juggler Sakari Männistö and circus artist/poet Mika Nuutinen’s social critique of shame in its many guises. The personal tales of three men form the backbone of the narrative. The air is thick with the fear of failure and feeling of inadequacy, juggling, knife throwing and pair acrobatics. Also making an appearance on stage is the ultimate symbol of male pride, an enormous willy.
