Helsinki Day is celebrated in honor of Helsinki's birthday every year on June 12!

The programme in Suvilahti includes:

A salsa and Latin dance event that will be open to everyone, accompanied by a DJ and potentially a band. The event will start with salsa lessons. 

Summer House Terrace

DJs will take you for a journey full of chill vibes from House, through Trance and Garage to Jungle and DnB.

Säiliö - The gasholder

Säiliö is a Finnish electronic music phenomenon that aims to bring electronic music to everyone. Children under 16 years old need to be accompanied by a guardian.

Yuzu Nakamura, Mathilda Hahn ja Nicolas Dolenc: AI within Art

Young artists Yuzu Nakamura, Mathilda Hahn and Nicolas Dolenc explore questions in their exhibition such as: How do we value art made by AI compared to art created by humans? Can one tell the difference, and is it necessary? And how do your views differ from those of others? 

Light and power – The industrial history of Suvilahti
Södervik Gallery, Puhdistamo (building 6)

Through old photographs, the exhibition offers glimpses and views into the birth and industrial activities of Suvilahti as well as the development of the Sörnäinen industrial area. Introduction to the exhibition at 16.
