In Manifesti, poet and musician Juha Rautio and circus artist Samuli Männistö come together to subject cross-disciplinary art to deconstruction and scrutiny with humorous results. The pair set about to explore the limits of performance-based art via entertainment, art, poetry and circus. Is Manifesti a harbinger of a new political circus paradigm? Does it deal a final death knell to poetic circus? Is it supposed to make you laugh? Or think? Join us to hone our statement of strategic intent, they say.
